Turkey Reproduction
This is a National FFA Organization and U.S. Poultry and Egg Association lesson plan on turkey reproduction. Students learn the parts and functions of the hen and tom reproductive systems, compare natural mating and artificial insemination as breeding methods, and describe the stages of embryonic development in turkeys through direct instruction, model-building, video, and gallery-walk activities.
